there is always a lineage OS version and this guy from germany postet an unofficial release on sourceforge. Isn’t it possible to make it official nowadays? Like checking rootbear and its safetynet ability.
here is the link of the unofficial release. The Maintainer is here on this forum as well.
@ronnz98 couldn’t you make it official in any way and test it through?
I don’t have the ability. Just the smartphone and i would change immediately.
I am wondering also why there are no more devices added in the list since many months.
our loved @ronnz98 is not the maintainer of this device, he simply build for it,
as i known, he don’t own the device.
But an exynos variant on which he just start his first ajustements.
Maintaining an Official build is a huge job with many exigences and requirements to be met with regard to the e.foundation…
Ok i see,
but why exynox if there is already a “base” by lineage for snapdragon? i guess it should be easier to build then. on kleinanzeigen.de you get the phone very cheap and you can resell it afterwards, if he would do the job, he would help many. even i know enough people having the last 4G version of a samsung smartphone and they hate google. Exynox is not widespreaded as snapdragon in this case, from what i have seen. (at least not in germany)
I bought it here in Germany and got the snapdragon, i also know from other ppl. - same thing.
i though know somebody who bought a refurbished one in Germany and got exynos. Anyway.
It’s a sad story.
@ronnz98 I might be able to get a S20 FE 4 G Snapdragon in the next weeks. like 90-95%. I will test your builds then. Are you going to continue updating all the stuff btw? If yours are stable or you need a snapdragon i could send it to you for testing and so on. Maybe it would get community build working without lineage os support…
I can do more or less regular builds. But I’m not a developer, so I rely on sources that are working and ideally updated.
/e/OS is based on LineageOS so this is always needed.
I don’t need a S20 FE, but would be happy for support via eg PaypalMe
