Hi all, I am a new user of e/OS. I want to use it for work purposes too. My organisation allows this through the Microsoft Intune Company Portal. It failed to complete the registration process midway, so I managed to delete the app. It’s not on my Fairphone, yet the app store thinks it’s still there as it says “Open” in the store. Pressing “Open” has no result, because the app isn’t there. Help?

There’s work going on to make it possible to use the App, but this has compatibility and liability implications. You could ask your company’s IT department beforehand whether they would even accept what Murena are trying to implement here.
Did you already reboot the phone?
Else you could try to force-stop the app store (App Lounge or Aurora Store?) and restart it, or if that isn’t enough you could try to delete its cache, or even its data, then try again.
Working fine here (latest /e/OS), in a work profile managed by Shelter.
If I remember well (it’s been a while …), I installed Aurora Store in regular profile, cloned it to work profile using Shelter, then installed InTune & µSoft apps from there.
Thanks to AnotherElk and smu44 for their responses. A short update:
- I was only able to reinstall the application by doing a factory reset…
- I contacted my IT service provider and then Murena after reading smu’s response. My IT service provider informed me that currently Microsoft cannot communicate with a device running /e/OS. However, Murena informs me that they are indeed working on an update to facilitate this.
