Migrate tcl501 OS

Hello everyone,
I’m new to this forum and would like some helpful advice.
I have a TCL501 smartphone - model T433d with an octa-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, and 64GB of ROM.
This smartphone isn’t on the supported list. Since I wanted to replace the Android 14 (Go Edition) system with /e/OS/, I was wondering if it was possible.
If not, thank you anyway. If it is possible, which model from the list can I use to make the change?
Thanks and regards

Good evening everyone, I asked you for help replacing the Android 14 Go operating system with e/os on this smartphone. If you could suggest a compatible installer, considering that the ROM is only 2GB—the OS currently takes up 3.4GB (2GB+2GB)—I’d be very grateful.
Any suggestions?

As mentioned About the Request a Device category one needs to know the device codename to give an informed answer.

There are several ways to find this shown in this thread [HOWTO] Find device codename.

As a quick answer, I would think it unlikely that /e/OS will work on a device built for Android Go.

The smartphone model is TCL501 - model T433d with an octa-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, and 64GB of ROM, as specified above. It uses Android 14 GO and has a Cortex A53 CPU.
I’ve seen that the first Google Pixel models more or less match this one in terms of RAM.
If I run recovery and then download e/os, can I revert if it doesn’t work?
Thanks

Retail Branding Marketing Name Device Model
TCL TCL 501 Bee_One T433D
TCL TCL 501 Bee_One T433E

so device codename is (Bee_One)

Generally you need a custom ROM built for the phone by codename. In a quick search I found no custom ROM let alone /e/OS for bee_one

The alternative is a Generic System Image (GSI) but you must be able to unlock the bootloader first. As I understand this is difficult / impossible for TCL … but check for yourself.

Here are “general purpose” instructions GitHub - BiltuDas1/unlock-Bootloader: Unlock Bootloader of any Device using PC or Android. · GitHub.

Thanks for the instructions, which were very helpful. Unlocking the bootloader is possible using the developer option, as I’ve verified. So I’d need to find a suitable GSI image for my smartphone to load it onto. Where can I find it? I’d be very grateful.
However, I haven’t figured out how to perform a complete backup of the device. I can’t see the device from Linux. I’ll have to try from Windows as soon as I can.
Thanks again.
