I have EOS installed on the A52s 5G. It works nicely. But in apps settings the bottom setting can’t always be changed because the EOS bottom menu (with the 3 buttons) is in the way. (the panel of some apps is to long).
I’m also wondering why I don’t see a GPS item in the top menu (the menu you see when you swipe down from the top). I want to disable GPS, but I don’t know how. I’d like to at least see when it’s enabled. Also, the App Lounge isn’t working. I’ve replaced it with Aurora for now. I want to remove the suggestions and the search bar from the start menu, but that’s not working. I’d also like to remove the default weather app, but I can’t do that either. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve the above issues? Regards, Robby
You can set it differently. Have a search for ‘navigation bar’ in settings
The Quick Settings menu on Android provides easy access to essential features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and brightness controls. You can customize this menu by rearranging tiles or adding new ones to suit your preferences.
I’d like to keep the menu with the three icons while trying to find a solution in reducing the default screen. Is that possible? I was also wondering if it’s possible to stream to a Chromecast? Do I need to configure a specific setting for this? I see more people having problems with this, but I haven’t seen any solutions yet. (I’m using the latest version of EOS.) Perhaps the problem is that a DRM-L1 license is required and Google Mobile Services (GMS) is enabled? Are there any suggestions on how to fix this? Disney, Netflix, Prime, and YouTube all “see” the Chromecast, but the connection isn’t established. HBO Max doesn’t see the Chromecast at all.
I have checked and my DRM status is L1. So that should be fine…
I cannot reproduce this as I think I always find that I am able to scroll eventually the screen off the (opaque, in these cases) Nav bar. However it has been observed before. Maybe device specific … or is it specific to certain apps / screens?
If you can tie it down it may be a case for Report an issue but as always search to see if it is already reported.
