Mobile data connection disabled permanently after turning it off once

I turned off mobile data (not airplane mode). Now turning it back on doesn’t re-enable the connection.

I’ve tried resetting APN settings manually by getting details from the providers, verifiying every option on the two SIMs I use, etc.

This is likely an e.foundation issue as the issue appears on other devices, eg: [SOLVED] No Internet via mobile-data

Has anyone experienced this for OnePlus? Will I need to re-install the OS to (potentially) fix this?

I have a OnePlus 5.

Turns out this was because EE turned off my mobile data. Taking that SIM out and just inserting the Swedish one resolved the problem. I’m now in touch with EE to resolve.
