Mobile data usage count

Hi there,

using a Moto G7 plus with (e_lake-userdebug 11 RQ3A.211001.001 eng.root.20220629.044207 dev-keys)

My phone tells me I have used about 350MB of mobile data while my provider says it was around 2GB…
It says right on that page that my provider might count differently and that’s fine, the difference is just so big. I need to rely on that info to use roaming. Could that just be different days of starting the data count? If so, how can I adjust that?

I think it’s unlikely but thought it might nonetheless have to do with this thing here

so turned off all the default cloud sync I could find.

Would appreciate any ideas on this.

In the Settings, search for “data usage,” then open “App data usage cycle.” Then select your monthly reset date.

You should also set a “data warning” threshold, or even a “data limit,” to prevent exceeding the usage you want to allow.

Found it and changed to match the two. They were so far apart it probably solved the issue.
