Multiple profiles instead of Shelter?

Hello,

Sorry in advance if this is not the adequate thread.

Just discovering/e/ on a FP4 and loving it !!

Is creating a second profile with no Contacts recorded, no Location activated and even no Account attached to this profile as safe as using Shelter ?

On this second profile I intend to install applications with low privacy features (my bank app, Spotify,…).

What do you think ?

This is really interesting question, as I’ve tried using Shelter to have Google in it for googly apps, and F-droid in main part of the phone, but somehow Google tracked from Shelter use of Open Board from F-droid in main part. Maybe changing user is better option for that :thinking:
