I am making use of e Os on a fairphone 4 and fairphone 5. On both the new maps app has the same problem: mainly I cannot get the map to be shown flat. It is always tilted (more as a car gps). I cannot find settings to change this (e.g. it is always the same even if I change the map style; changing the map from 3D or automatic to 2D also does nothing). If I press down on a certain location it will zoom in on that location as flat, then change back to tilted once moved. Yet this shows that a flat map is possible within the app.
My question thus is: what do I do to force the map to be shown consistently flat and not tilted?
