Murena Teraube 2s doesn't work with USmobile? (warp)

So I got the Murena Teracube 2s yesterday, played with the settings, then swapped my sim card.

This sim card works fine in my old phone, but doesn’t work in the new phone. It shows the right number, but no calls, text, or Internet.

Wifi works fine, and I got to the 3.2 update.

I can’t change the APN for some reason.

Is this a Murena problem or USmobile?

Edit: For clarification, I tried seotching airplane mode on and off, wifi, cellular data, lte and others, roaming, etc.

There can be a number of reasons for apn problems. This is for instance is marked Solved.

For the first link, what if there is no + button?

Also, I can’t even call people.

The second link is about boot loops, not the APN or data.

Edit: I accidentally looked at the link in the second link, instead of the second link itself. Same issue though, there is no + button to add an APN.

Ah, you are reading what the forum calls the “preview” and have followed the poster’s “earlier experiene” link, please try opening the thread itself.

I think this was asked once before. Here is an image of what I see

a suggestion, in case the +, is present but not showing (unusual) is there any reaction if you try to press the area where the plus should be?

Did you already find No mobile data connection on Teracube2e, Windtre, Italy.

Did you find the existing APN different from those published by your carrier?

If yes you could ask your carrier to perform an APN reset.

Someone with USA experience may be able to help more and of course there is Murena Contact us for Customer support, but replies seem to take ~7 days due to demand.

Hopefully the pictures do me justice.

No plus, call is grayed out, mobile data button is on.

As an aside, is it normal for the headphone jack to not work? Because I plugged in my headphones and no sound. In fact, the phone kept playing sounds through the speakers with the headphones plugged in.

Anyways, I think that link is 100% right, as the mmc and stuff is blank. And the edit view for the 3 default APN’s is grayed out as well.

Might just factory reset and hope that works at this point. Crazy how a 10 year old Android 7 phone just works with text and what not.

Increasingly carriers rely on Google to dynamically adjust APN, while AOSP has to rely on presets.

So if I check the presets prebuilt/common/etc/apns-conf.xml · a14 · e / os / android_vendor_lineage · GitLab there is no exact match with USmobile or warp. (Nor mentioned here [LIST] Carriers that work or do not work with /e/OS country-wise).

Factory reset is unlikely to help. Carrier APN reset is probably required. The carrier will at least be aware of your SIM if you see “Emergency calls only”. If this is not seen, again perhaps someone with USA experience will chip in.

In a new phone, yes, I would expect the headphone jack to work.

usmobile is an MVNO, so they buy data from the 3 big carriers to use for their customers. I believe I am currently on their Verizon data.

So you are saying if I ask usmobile for an APN reset, it might fix my issue?

I am currently using the sim card on my old phone as my only way to communicate, so I am worried if this will break it. Could you explain the process of an APN reset?

Yes APN reset has the chance to be the fix as the carrier will send a special transmission to the phone to rewrite your missing APN setting.

If you want to use the SIM on 2 devices this may be problematic for them, idk, speak to them.

Well I figured out the headphone issue at least, I was plugging them too quickly apparently. If I go slow, then the second to last ring catches and the headphones work.

Still working on figuring out the main problem.

After talking with USmobile support, it seems that the warp network is Verizon, and the Teracube 2s doesn’t work on verizon, so I had to switch to the lightspeed network (T-Mobile) on USmobile. Waiting for my sim card to arrive to confirm if it works.

Okay, so it seems it was the fact that the Murena Teraube 2s currently is not in the Verizon network. So I had to switch from US Mobile’s Warp network to the lightspeed nerwork (T-Mobile), and insert a new APN.
