Did you find the existing APN different from those published by your carrier?
If yes you could ask your carrier to perform an APN reset.
Someone with USA experience may be able to help more and of course there is Murena Contact us for Customer support, but replies seem to take ~7 days due to demand.
No plus, call is grayed out, mobile data button is on.
As an aside, is it normal for the headphone jack to not work? Because I plugged in my headphones and no sound. In fact, the phone kept playing sounds through the speakers with the headphones plugged in.
Anyways, I think that link is 100% right, as the mmc and stuff is blank. And the edit view for the 3 default APN’s is grayed out as well.
Might just factory reset and hope that works at this point. Crazy how a 10 year old Android 7 phone just works with text and what not.
Factory reset is unlikely to help. Carrier APN reset is probably required. The carrier will at least be aware of your SIM if you see “Emergency calls only”. If this is not seen, again perhaps someone with USA experience will chip in.
In a new phone, yes, I would expect the headphone jack to work.
usmobile is an MVNO, so they buy data from the 3 big carriers to use for their customers. I believe I am currently on their Verizon data.
So you are saying if I ask usmobile for an APN reset, it might fix my issue?
I am currently using the sim card on my old phone as my only way to communicate, so I am worried if this will break it. Could you explain the process of an APN reset?
Well I figured out the headphone issue at least, I was plugging them too quickly apparently. If I go slow, then the second to last ring catches and the headphones work.
After talking with USmobile support, it seems that the warp network is Verizon, and the Teracube 2s doesn’t work on verizon, so I had to switch to the lightspeed network (T-Mobile) on USmobile. Waiting for my sim card to arrive to confirm if it works.
Okay, so it seems it was the fact that the Murena Teraube 2s currently is not in the Verizon network. So I had to switch from US Mobile’s Warp network to the lightspeed nerwork (T-Mobile), and insert a new APN.
