Need to restart data migration process on FP6

Hi, when I received my brand new FP6 with Murena, part of the setup process was the offer to migrate data from another device (FP2 with Fairphone Open OS FPOOS), but I could not start it, had to organize the cable to do so (USB C to Micro-B).

Now I got the cable, but the migration process is gone. I did a factory reset which erase all data and apps, and restarted a setup procedure, but without the migration part. How can I restart that?

Thanks

hman

I am now waiting for more than a week for a solution, and the clock is ticking for my refund on the first FP6. I also cannot use my second FP6 to replace my slowly dying FP2, so there really is pressure. But so far no help from Murena, and Fairphone fingerpoints at Murena, so this is a vicious circle :frowning:

if you’re expecting the functionality in this screen capture, Android Switch isn’t part of /e/OS.

I have SEEN THIS, or more precisely, something very similiar. Like at 3:30 in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CisekVETaak

. On my FP6, with Murena pre-installed. But only once.

this is Android Switch (com.google.android.apps.restore) on a Google Android. Unless Murena shows that in their own Videos it’s not there.

I know. But I did see if for myself, but just once. In the meantime, I did pretty much of migration on my own, thanks.

factory is factory image. After a reset it should be shown again if it’s there.

Sure - I do understand you won’t do that to investigate - but maybe there’s a chance any other FP6 user comes across this and will check on next reset.

I did the reset on two FP6 (I had two for a couple of weeks, because I received the wrong color), and I could not see the dialog again :frowning:
