New feature proposal: a complete way to avoid call spams

I think it’s now urgent to make something against fake or spam calls.

It would be nice to be able to manage individual phone numbers, range of phone numbers and masked phone numbers. Then, to choose if you want to silence them (do nothing and let ‘silently’ the call be routed to your answering machine), or simply ignore them (pick up + hang up + do not log the call).

For example

  • Ignore “range +33270*”
  • Silence “masked phone numbers”
  • Etc.

This feature could be integrated inside Advanced Privacy.

I know that a lot of solutions can do that, but the idea is to get the best features integrated in the stock /e/OS. IMHO callers management could be a good candidate to the Advanced Privacy application.

For the first time, I really found something not too complex, with (almost) no need to install additional applications. I’ll share some of my thoughts in “feature-proposal”, about a very few things that could be - IMHO - a little better.
