Now you are in the same boat as all the other users who tried the Revolut support .
I would say, lets hope what the developer was able to fix will soon come into fruition. What I have read so far from other users, etc. trying, it has nothing to do with Play Integrity API.
I paid 155 € for a Metal account, and after 5 months my account become useless due to this “improvement” of Revolut.
When I emailed to Revolut asking solve this issue they answered: move to another device.
I think that Revolut shouldn’t be who tells me what device I have to buy. And if this position continues Revolut should refund me the part of the money I’ve paid for this account.
Next emails to support Revolut only had 1 answer: no answer.
Finally, one month ago, I decided make a complaint to the regulatory authority (Banc of Spain) and now is admitted for processing. This may take up to 4 months but, no matter.
Anyway, fortunately, there are many other banks that probably take more care of their clients than Revolut.
I think that the only language that this kind od people like Revolut understands is close the account.
I am wondering and my point of view is maybe limited.
When you decided to use Murena /e/OS what was your opinion/impression about
you thought this is 100% percent working and will always?
When I started using /e/OS like 5 years ago. Some things didn’t work and I knew ‘what ever works today can break tomorrow’ maybe I started with that thought over time I don’t know.
That is why I wanna hear your from your side.
And yes please close your Revolut account. I did also after this dilema, which I haven’t had issues with (long time installation) but immediately afger that closed in protest.
Hi Mihi, one year ago I started using Murena after tested other alternatives like Librem 5, I’ve moved to Murena because I thought that the compability with all Adroid apps will be 100%, first I tested with a Oneplus 7 pro, and finally I decided to buy a Murena One.
I never thought that the /e/OS nor any app will be free of bugs, of course, but this behavior, without any prior warning, from Revolut would happen.
And furthermore because the Revolut app worked fine up until 3 months ago.
I’m happy with Murena and any other alternative to the official Android/iOS mainly to be care of my privacy and kicking off Google, Apple…
For me this problem appeared after the upgrade OTA upgrade to eos 3.0.1
Revolut App worked before that for almost a year without problems.
Using FP 4
(other banking related apps continue to work without problem)
Do you think this may be related to the general problems reported sporadically for v3.0.1 on the feedback thread?
Same happened to me today: my Revolut app stopped working on my FP4 running /e/OS v3.0.1.
Also bought it from the Murena shop and never rooted or unlocked the Bootloader. Also confirmed through Fastboot Mode that the device state is locked as expected.
Interestingly, my Freetrade app stopped working recently as well and when I opened a case with them they said:
Not sure if both issues are related, but I’m hoping this is not a new trend with more apps getting blocked. If that’s the case I hope that microG or whichever /e/OS component that emulates these security checks are able to catch up.
So sad… same thing here on my Teracube 2e bought originally with MurenaOS pre-installed and never touched since then. I did update it a few days ago to /e/OS v3.0.1 and now the revolut app doesn’t work anymore.
I don’t remember the last time I did use it, probably a few days ago but today I got the message that revolut isn’t supported on my device…
Hi there
I’m on a Murena FP5, too. No problems with Revolut so far. Official OTA Build 3.0.1-t-20250606498724-official-FP5 (Android 13)
I hope for the effected users for this to get fixed for them.
Hi did you solve it? Did it happen to stop working around the time they sent a physical credit card to you and you vere soppose to activate it but suddenly app didnt work. Sounds right?
The revolut fix is due for release with /e/OS v3.1 which should be coming in July. Exact date not available as yet. It will also be available for devices with locked bootloader. Which means on our official builds.
Not a bad news considering we are close to July…
Until then, unfortunately, it seems that we can’t use our revolut account (yesterday when I tried to purchase an item on a well known website I had to grant the transaction with the app and obviously I failed to do so).
As I wrote in my previous post, unfortunately I haven’t solved it yet…
It happened suddenly 2 days ago without any particular reason (I did update the OS version about one week earlier),
I just opened the app to check if I had enough money to complete a purchase and I got the message you can see in the attached file…
Now when I open the app I’m asked to create a new account, to login with my saved credentials or to login with a different account. This never happened before the issue and I was immediately logged in with my account as soon as I digit the 6 digit password.
Here is the answer of the chatbot ( I have a temporary solution using a standard Android phone):
“Hello XXX. I completely understand your frustration and the importance of using the operating system of your choice. The security of your account is our top priority. Our integrity checks are an essential protection measure, and currently, custom operating systems like Murena eOS do not meet them. This is not a matter of preference, but a security requirement. You can continue to manage your account via the Revolut website on your device.”
