When I go to system settings, then open the upgrade menu, it tells me there’s no upgrade (I have eOS 2.1-s).
However on gitlab I see there are 2.2-s releases. Are they not public yet?
/e/ operates what has been described as a “staggered release”, usually over 7 days or more; not all users can be served in one day!
The release was announced yesterday

Additionally to what was said prior, you could be on the official/stable release channel, where updates arrive a few days later as compared to community/dev, here’s how to see what you are running exactly … [HOWTO] Give complete /e/OS version info easily for support, answers, comparison etc
not sure about that this time, saw one with stable on the feedback
Yeah, it’s not set in stone. I’m not sure every device e.g. sold by Murena even has dev. And even with dev we had rare occurences of stable coming before dev in the past.
But in general the concept is stable arriving later … we would be a bit wiser about it if we knew which device and /e/OS version we are facing here exactly.
