pCloud not working: cannot log in

Hi all! I have a Fairphone 4 with /e/OS. The app pCloud used to work under /e/OS, but not the encrypted part of pCloud: I could not login into the encrypted section.

Since I have reinstalled /e/OS (1.8.1), the app does not work at all: it loads the initial screen of the app but I cannot login into my account.

Why not?

Could it have something to do with the fact that my boaloader is still unlocked?

I looked at the initial login issue - it fails if the device isn’t registered with googles cloud messaging (GCM) - solution was to register the device in Settings → System → microG

D GmsGcmRegister: onBind: Intent { act=com.google.android.c2dm.intent.REGISTER pkg=com.google.android.gms }
D GmsGcmRegister: handleMessage: package=com.pcloud.pcloud what=1 id=2
W GmsGcmRegister: java.lang.RuntimeException: GCM disabled
W GmsGcmRegister: 	at org.microg.gms.gcm.PushRegisterServiceKt.ensureAppRegistrationAllowed(PushRegisterService.kt:55)

(I didn’t check why encrypted folder wouldn’t work, it would require subscription)

The problem was with the app in the App Lounge. I installed the same version from Aurora Store and it worked.
