Per contact Text notification sound

Using /e/OS Settings

Hello !

So I have seen the info on how to get Per contact ringtone, but I’m looking for another “basic” settings: I want to have a different sound when I receive texts messages from specific people, and the default notification sound for other people.

I’m afraid it is not possible because I found easily the setting for ringtone, and I would have expect to have the one for text message grouped with it…

My phone is a Samsung S7 with /e/OS from before it was called Murena :slight_smile:

Any advice ?

Found it !
The “Sms-tone” are to be configured in the message application, by opening the conversation with the contact, and then change the notification setting of the conversation and not of the contact.
That is a bit misleading :slight_smile:
