Curious if the community builds for the above mentioned require a manual load to get to e/OS with Android 14. My Pixel 7 is currently on 2.6.3-T and my Pixel 7 Pro is on 2.5.1-T and does not offer me an update to 2.6.3. I’m seeing community builds for Android 14 at version 2.6.3. If I need to manually load, is there special procedure to not have to reset the device? Thank you! I’m CLI familiar, just looking for the path of least resistance as these are “daily drivers”.
But I have noticed added battery drain on my device a Moto since this update. I will be resetting (manual backup) this phone and doing the full install to see if it corrects this issue.
Also none of my Pixels have offered the OTA update either so you may be forced to do 'dirty" or manual install the update. Normally when the Android version changes I do the full fresh install this time is the exception.
Edit: I should have included in my above comment that you should back up your data as there is a risk that something can go wrong in a “dirty” upgrade and you all lose your data, so do a backup of importand data first.
