RCS messaging app and microG

Hi, because SIGNAL messenger is stopping SMS support soon I am looking for an additional messaging app that is using RCS services. As I see it all RCS apps requires GSF. So I wonder if they do run with microG instead of GSF. Any recommendation if this is possible and which app to use? Thank you in advance. Regain your privacy! Receive RCS from Android users

Hi, I just noticed that I do not receive messages from Google Messages. It appears that they are RCS and not SMS but people who sens them do not even know they are not SMS.
