Restore backup from LineageOS

Okay, so recently I heard about /e/os and today I gave it a shot. So I backed up my files on LineageOS and got to work.

So now I’m here, without a clue how am I supposed to restore my data from seedvault backup.

In settings I looked stuff up, tried ‘restore backup’ option, but it says ‘no suitable backups found at given location’.

Any help?
(If there is a topic like this/I gave wrong category, please let me know/move it. I don’t have much experience with forums). Thanks

SedVault is present in the /e/OS ROM , but is not available from the UI of the phone. You will need to use another way of starting SeedVault to restore your data: Some possibilities

• using adb o a connected computer - see this forum post
• using Activity Launcher app from F-Droid
• using Activity Manager app from F-Droid
