Hi,
Set up e/OS yedterday on a S9+ (SM-G965F).
I only have one bug now, I cannot lock the phone via PIN and/or fingerprint. Every time I try to set it up i end up with a message that state “screen lock was already change. Please try with the new screen lock”
Right now the only method that works is swipe or none.
Does anybody has already experience this ?

being unable to set a screen lock is regularly associated with FRP (factory reset protection),

I’ve checked the different topics (have to admit that I didn’t understand everything) and the phone.
In download mode on the phone FRP is OFF.
Should I try to change it to ON ?
no, if it’s off it can stay off. I’d probably try a factory reset (userdata format) first, then reflash if any steps were forgotten.

Okay so I reflashed e/OS in two different versions (3.1.1 and 3.1.4) after a factory reset / Data and I’m still unable to set a screenlock other than swipe or none.
I’ve seen that you may have to flash stock OS but didn’t manage to do it.
Do you think there is a way to do it without going through the stock OS ?
I havn’t much 1st hand experience with Samsungs, but I’d follow that lineageos issue advice and return to stock once. Here’s a post with some links where to source the image how to go about it

I managed to install TWRP on the phone but I’m now stuck trying to flash te stock ROM.
I didn’t manage to use Heimdall to do it and now using JODIN3 on linux but it keeps telling me that a corrupted file was detected and that I need valid ODIN file.

All right, big thanks to @tcecyk and @piero !
PIN lock is now available on the device running e/OS.
In order to keep track of the steps needed :
1 - Flash TWRP to the device
2 - Flash Stock samasung OS, for me I use ODIN and the following guide

3 - On the device running stock OS get the screen lock to swipe
4 - Reinstall e/OS following the documentation
5 - Boot in e/OS and set up the screen lock method that suits you
