The SM-G95xF “Dream” can run Android Nougat, Oreo and now Pie
An unofficial LineageOS runs on Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+

It’s just sad that I own a Galaxy S8+ when /e/ runs on S4,S6,S7 and S9
Agree with this. I also have an Samsung Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955F) and I would love to see it running /e/. It is not cool to see almost all the Galaxy S family and not ours.
Also this is my first post, so I would love to say hi to everyone as well and thank all the team for what they are doing. This is a really good project
Happy new year /e/! I’m a newbie here but as someone starting to divorce myself from Google, I love what you’re creating!
I’m on a Samsung Galazy S8 (SM-G950F) and would love for the S7 - S9 gap filled so that I can join the /e/ family!
Hi all,
for Exynos models please join our testing group for a ROM we’re soon releasing.
Thanks,
Arnau
As I said can’t test it yet but hopeful!
Hi,
any update about s8+?
Thank you
Dear developer team
You had supported it before. I am running it now (Android 9). Please provided a current image for the
Samsung Galaxy S8+
Thank you very much.
Cheers
Henry
We see in Week 45, 2022: Development and Testing Updates
OS OTA upgrades
Upcoming
Samsung s8 /s8+
Pie to S OTA upgrade
2 critical issues were detected with the build. There is an issue around this but it marked internal by the team. Unless resolved we will not be able to release this build. For now the team is working on resolving these issues in the upgrade build.
ETA : To be announced
As I had installed the latest Android 9-Pie 9/2022 update, I did not need to install the VENDOR*.zip offered in /e/OS documentation. Even though the /e/OS-R V1.6 ROM e-1.6-rc.4-r-20221124237680-stable-dreamlte
is currently still called a Release Candidate (RC), it’s clear that the official version isn’t far away.
I take my hat off to /e/Team and congratulate them on their achievement so far, which is extra class
/e/OS Version 1.6-r-20221129238947-stable-dreamlte + eRecovery 1.6 is published. However, there is no entry about the S8/S8+ (dreamlte/dream2lte) in /e/ Smartphone Selector anymore. Time will tell.

.
But it is still on the testing channel. It is not a official release.
And:
this will reduce the probability for a soon proper official release…
and also this looks not shiny for s8 enthusiasts…
https://doc.e.foundation/devices/dreamlte
legacy… seems to be a bad bad word.
but “community support” in the other way a real good one.
Running on 1.7-ReleaseCandidate with Android R on my S8. Works smoothly
