Sava Setting FP 5 Murena

Hi all,

If one day I have a hardware problem with my FP 5 Murena or other reason and I have to do a factory reset of the phone, I would like to know how I can make a backup of my settings and application installed on my SD card?

For example after the factory reset that I can automatically reinstall from my SD card the apps and settings that I had?

Without having to go through an online backup.

In short the options which come to my mind and which you have:

  • use Seedvault (it’s integrated into /e/OS but there are a lot of apps it won’t backup)
  • use “Android Backup Project” (it works imho with more apps but still not with all)
  • (temporarily) root your device and use a backup app like e.g. Titanium Backup (this might backup/restore most apps/data)
