Screen goes black when receiving call

Hello,

My OnePlus Nord becomes black when I’m receiving call. I tried to lock and unlock the phone and it’s still black. I’m sharing a screenshot where you can see the call and the screen black. This behavior is not always happening. I should wait the next call to get my screen back on this example.

I have /e/ 2.3 and I think that I add this problem since the last two updates.

My screen also becoming black when I answer a call even when I’m not putting by phone on my ear. I have to push power button to get the screen back.

Thank you for reading me.

It seems that the new update solved the problem. I’ll try some days and I’ll delete the thread if it’s ok

mine has been doing that for years. Never thought to ask about it. If I make a call, it turns off. Seems to be related to the proximity sensor for when you hold it to your ear. If you press the power button, it turns on.

Bonjour,
j’avais cela avec mon S7.
J’ai décoché la luminosité adaptative dans la configuration affichage et depuis l’écran reste allumé.
cordialement.

Hello,
I had this with my S7.
I unchecked adaptive brightness in the display configuration and since then the screen stays on.
best regards.

I don’t have adaptative brightness activated.
Anyway, thank you for your suggestion !

Updates doesn’t change the bug. I found that if I restart the phone, the bug isn’t happening. It seems that this bug is linked with the one when you can’t slide down the status bar to the bottom (wifi, settings, brightness access). I will have a look on the website to see if there is a thread about this bug.

Ok I found it on the fairphone 3 :

I see but I don’t think it’s linked with the sensor because as you can see in my screenshot, the status bar is still displaying but not the main part of the screen. I was thinking that maybe it’s also linked with the phone screen lock security
