Fully inline with that point of view @Scytale . I made regular donation every new year because I consider fair to pay for the services provided by murena. Because of the server outage I don’t make any donation in 2025 because there is no services… So I have probably been downgraded from premium to basic user😭.

Folders are synced by eDrive automatically. You can disable this from settings >> Accounts >> Select account ID >>Account sync … disable items you do not want synced . Take a backup of your local or cloud files before proceeding with any deletes or changes.
We are blocking 3rd party clients block for now as we have found these clients will remove the devices local copy when if enable them. As in cloud the filesystem is empty initially, you won’t be able to find any cloud backup… You can follow our backup guide & backup their data for now.
So I have an external SDHC card. Does this mean when everything is up and running it will try to suck up everything to the cloud? Do I need to backup the entire phone?
If your data is important to you, then you shouldn’t rely on others and take care of backups, etc. in order not to be surprise if something doesn’t work as expected or told.
Whats the rule, 3, 2, 1 to be sure you are safe with your data?

I have sync permanently turned off yet my screenshots are still being sucked up to the Cloud. Why? Header on murena.io cloud still saying service back soon.
It would be nice, if we had a new date by when we can expect things like “notes” to be back running. The last update mentiones 5’000 users per hour, but as we don’t know how many users there are in total, it’s a bit difficult to find out by when we can expect things to function. It could be a matter of days, weeks, months. What do we know how popular murena is?. It’s possible that I’m one of the last users to get back, so by when would that be???
Why is it so hard for the murena team to understand, that users wish to have dates communicated rather than having to check back on all these pages again and again on their own to find out when the service is coming back? Every week I’m wondering, every week I’m coming to these websites only to find no new communication, and if there is communication, it’s vague as “5000 users per hour”.
Hi there, sorry for asking a question that may have been asked many times already but I could not find it in the threads. The folder app just reappeared in my murena workspace. However, I cannot find the MurenaRecovery folder mentioned in the recovery guide.
Should I wait for it to appear ? Or does it mean the data have been lost ?
This should show up in a couple of days. Have asked the developers to update this information in the guide. The data from before October should show up in a read only folder.
