I have 2.6.4-T /e/os, I received my datas with the .zip file and have no personal Nextcloud server.
Do I have to do something for the datas on my phone, to not lose them, or will it be automatically managed by Murena ?
The latest guide advises to backup your notes. If you have KDE connect on your phone and also on GNU/Linux or Windows (You Can Now Use KDE Connect in Windows as Well), if you do a press on each note a blue overlay and frame appears which means you have selected that Note. Do this with all of them, then click on the share icon (highlighted with roughly drawn red square below):
This will open Kate in Plasma (probably Notepad in Windows) or whatever is default text editor in your system, and turns your separate Notes into a list, spaced out.
You are advised to turn synchronisation off until Files is backup and present on the cloud.
I like you was perturbed about the NextCloud item as because as I understand it, murena global cloud uses NextCloud software. I think the NextCloud element is if you have a NextCloud account and the App on your phone.
Is the file storage still being reopened 500 premium and 5000 free users an hour? I don’t see anything on my cloud and I’m paying for the cloud service…
Yes, first set of 500 premium users is done. We will observe the network for about 1-2 hours and then open up the next 500. If there are no issues we will speed up the release process.
What do you mean? I cannot access the password behind https://murena.io/apps/passwords/, as shown in my previously posted screenshot, the app asks for another password that I don’t have.
Just to avoid confusion, I am already logged in my Murena account, it appears that the backup password is stored in the password manager that is itself locked by some master password like a typical KeePass. I don’t know this master password and have no idea how to reset it if I ever set this up years ago…
Anyone knows how I can get access to my backup password in that situation? @Manoj can you do something for me, please?
There is no rank list as such. The IDs would be arranged alphabetically and 500 are opened up at intervals of about an hour. The whole process may take a couple of days.
The sync of files from you mobile should have started now. You should also be able to upload files to the cloud. I checked on my drive just now and it works.
Cloud is back . Is there an ETA for notes too. Currently it is not syncing in the notes app.
However, it is a feeling like using EOS back in good old times
Thanks and will be there an update about the cloud infrastructure. How many backups? Last time the backup in October was from June.
My issues. Files folder is back but the header states full operation back soon. Looking inside files is a csv spreadsheet listing all of my installed apps. Why? My Images folder shows all my screenshots that I never send to the cloud. Why? I am concerned if I do turn sync on it will pull up all my stuff to the cloud which I don’t want.
Hey,
i got my files access back and everything is working fine! Thanks a lot!
But i still get the issue when i try to login in to Nextcloud App and Nextcloud Deck App on my FP4. It doesnt work yet. After login i grant the access for the apps but the apps just keep loading and dont login.
Somebody got the same problems?
Same here. Emails are working well, but “Notes” still don’t sync.
It’s not an issue for me as long as my notes won’t be deleted when the sync will work again
I can now access files trough the web. But when I try to access it through the mobile Nextcloud app it gets stuck on endless loading.
And when I try to connect the desktop app I get an error saying “Access from Nextcloud clients is blocked”.
