The notes app on my Murena 2 is not working. I’ve seen posts that this was related to the unavailability of the Murena cloud, but this has been restored and notes is still not working (not even the use local notes option). I also noticed that the notes app is not in list of applications on the Murena cloud portal. Does anybody know the status on this or how to fix this issue?\
hi, i have checked the guide and on web-browser on linux i can now see notes app back, but not my old notes, also nothing in files- no recovery folder or nothing, will this appear in some days?
Yes these files and folders should start appearing in a couple of days. Again I do not have exact ETA. I have requested the team to mention this in the guide.
Cloud is back online but synchronization is not possible
I can’t open any documents on mobile device (IOS and Android)
Notes didn’t worked until recently (had to pull out my last personnal backup and transfer it to my cloud)
Deck was working until recently and now it just stop all together.
There si still no trace of my old datas in my cloud.
Nobody know when the service will go back to normal.
when the system will be fully operational half of a year will pass making me lose 50% of my subscription.
Funnily enough when I had to renew my subscription on the 20-26 of October the reminder and the automated system to suspend my account was working flawlessly.
I’m stuck with you because I made my murena email my official one but rest assure that on the next renewal of my subscription in March 2026 (because you will extend the subscription !!! ) I will downgrade to the cheapest one, or even the free one.
If you don’t mind me asking, in what way did you make your Murena email your “official one”? With some government organisation that won’t let you change it?
I gave my email to gouvernemental entities, and will it might not be impossible to change, it will be a lot of work to do so.
Also when it come to backing up all official mails I will have to move them to one mailbox to the other one, and there is also the risk that somebody from those entities might contact me on my Murena mail, and if I plan to move away definitely, the email will not be valid making me unreachable.
I found a setting that requires my password before items can be moved or deleted. Yet how is Murena still managing to take my screenshots and pull them to the Cloud? My previous post/s has/ve been ignored.
My files are here, but the Notes folder is empty, and I don’t have a MurenaRecovery folder.
I had important notes I’d really like to retrieve, are they definitely lost ?
The notes app sync and the MurenaRecovery folder would be enabled after observing the working of the services for a couple of days. We have enabled all the Apps on Murena and you should be able to see them in your dashboard. Third party apps remain disabled for now. We will update when the third party apps will be enabled.
Hi Manoj, is Webdav working for synching a file I have in the files folder? Because I just tried and did not manage to set it up in Keepass2android as I had it set up before the outage.
I’m still wondering it it’s “normal” that after now a few days that the Files app is again available for me I still do not see any MurenaRecovery folder…
Also I never received any email containing my backup files.
Hello,
as Raphm I’ve had the Files app back for about a week without the MurenaRecovery folder. I’m not interested in recovery files but I would like to resume synchronisation of local files on my PC with the Murena Cloud.
Is it safe to do that now? or is there still a risk of getting local files erased when the service fully reopens?
If we still have to wait, will we receive a message informing us we can resume sync?
You should be able to see files syncing between your device and your Murena cloud account. For ex a document on the device should show up in your cloud after a few minutes. It should work the other way round as well. I just checked on my device and account.
Once we enable the MurenaRecovery folder there should be no automatic deletion unless you manually delete a document in either location.
Third party apps are disabled for now as we are not sure about their behavior and they could end up updating or deleting existing files.
Also we will update when the MurenaRecovery folder will be enabled.
I’m feeling very dumb but which app do you use to retrieve files on your phone? I have been using nextcloud, but that app is not able to sync anymore (as it is a third party app it is disabled, as you write). But how else can I access synced files on the phone side?
