Standby doesn't work when charging

After the 30 seconds of inactivity i set the screen turns dark. Normally, the standby mode would be activated and the screen turned off. But when charging the standby mode is not activated and the screen stays darkened (not off).

Do you have a solution or any advice?

yes – that’s an annoying issue, which i noticed on the recent updates for xiaomi MI 8 as well.

it goes hand in hand with some other bugs concerning wake-up from sleep, i.e. the alarm clock isn’t activating the screen anymore…
