Whenever checking the feedback topics for a specific version, I can imagine lots of users searching for their specific phone or model to check whether the new version is stable and reportedly working fine on it. And the E/OS team asks us to provide a specific format when reporting on it.
Maybe they can make this into a pulldown menu with your phone listed when posting said info? That way other users can select their model from a dropdown and immediately see the report posts on that model instead of scanning through the entire topic.
I own several different devices. When I search the thread in order to know if anyone already reported something, I use the search tool of this forum and tick the “in this thread” box.
I’d put a webapp on the homescreen for more structured feedback right into an error reporting platform. Doing it on the forum though gives users a search interface to see confirmatinon of others having the same issue. Maybe a discourse-forum plugin that has some fields mandatory can help?
