Tasks is slow/unresponsive, system (status) bar is blinking

Recently my Tasks app is slow and unresponsive, and while Tasks is open the phone’s system (status) bar blinks.

I’m using

  • Tasks version 1.4.4
  • /e/ OS 3.3-a14-20251210556409-official-FP4
  • Fairphone 4

Perhaps search the forum for Tasks over past few days.

e-3.4 had Tasks issues; shortly after a hotfix was offered by App Lounge, Tasks 1.4.4.

When the hotfix is installed on 3.3 or 3.2 it gives problems there. I think it is reported uninstallable.

Hello.

I posted how I solved problem on /e/OS v3.3.

I go on with /e/OS v3.3. on the phone and I will not upgrade to /e/OS v3.4 for some weeks, depending on more general feedback on this version in forums.
