I installed a new teracube 2e (2021) phone with e/os following the official instructions: Install /e/ on a Teracube Teracube 2e (2021) - “emerald”
After completing the instructions, the phone is only able to boot into /e/ recovery, otherwise it boots after teracube screen into a black screen that stays forever.
To install the teracube 2e 2021, I used the following:
IMG-e-1.1-r-20220627199800-stable-emerald (image)
android-sdk-platform-tools-r33.0.2 (from android official)
Before installing, I confirmed it was actually a teracube 2021 phone.
By the way, there is an error in the install instructions for 2021: you have to press VOLUME UP instead of VOLUME DOWN after the command:
fastboot flashing unlock

Thanks for your help! meanwhile I’ll try to flash other images to see whether an older or dev build will actually boot.
UPDATE: while installing the image “IMG-e-1.1-r-20220627199800-stable-emerald.zip” didn’t work the older
“IMG-e-1.0-r-20220526188860-stable-emerald.zip” actually worked flawlessly
