"The system has been destroyed" with recovery 2.1 of Xiaomi Redmi Note 8

After flashing the recovery 2.1 on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, trying to start in recovery mode fails with a scary message “The system has been destroyed”.
Flashing instead the recovery 1.21 works.

I had downloaded the file from https://images.ecloud.global/dev/ginkgo/recovery-e-2.1-r-20240606407290-dev-ginkgo.img, AND checked the sha256sum. I tested twice.

So, to me, this v2.1 of /e/ recovery is not working (for this device)
@AudeM should I create a gitlab ticket?

For information, I could not install /e/ 2.1 with the recovery 1.21 (when starting the device, it falled back to fastboot mode).
Bu I could install /e/ 1.21 with the recovery 1.21.

On first start, WiFi was not available at all, like in No wifi on fresh new installation. But, after restarting the device, WiFi is now OK.
