This thread will be exclusively to report third party apps which do not work with /e/OS. The posts on such issues are spread all over the forum and difficult to track. Will be moving all such posts under this thread for easy tracking.
While sharing details please share the following details:
Application name in the format package name . This would be visible in App Lounge if you tap on the application icon >>and is in the format com.linkedin.android or com.facebook.katana
/e/OS build and OS version number
Device Name and Code name on which issue is reported.
Official or Community build
Any other detail like if it was working earlier and stopped working after a recent update
Also share any information, if you are aware, of changes at the application developer side
The suggestion from the developers is to raise the issue on Gitlab which would be helpful. Sharing the information here will help other forum users discuss the issue and share their comments.
(if facing an issue creating the account on Gitlab, pl let me know and I would be able to help you with that )
Hello /e/OS community.
I want to use the Fluidra Pool app on my FP5, but it doesn’t work on /e/OS. When I launch it, the app freezes on a gray screen.
The app works perfectly on an FP3 that doesn’t run e/OS.
Can you help me?
Thank you all in advance for your help
seems to hinge on Cronet things? microG has some amount of support for Cronet. Could be worth to file an issue for.

mega-threading app incompatibilities might be good to have an overview, but it will wreak havoc on searching error messages in the forum and do individual support.
If murena asks users to report more on gitlab, friction to do so should be lowered for both: useful reports and gitlab account registration
com.fossil.wearables.fossil (Fossil Smartwatches app), version 5.1.16
/e/OS 3.0.4-a15-20250708507307-official-FP6 and /e/OS 3.1-a15-20250801514257-official-FP6
Fairphone 6
App hangs on the logo splash screen. I tried installing a version 4.x.x of the Fossil app, which got past the splash screen, but then just shows that it’s no longer supported and i need to update to the latest version. So I guess I now have a Fossil branded paperweight, as the watch doesn’t work without a connection to the app

Just for the sake of completeness: Microsoft Teams and Company Portal do not work due to failing/missing microG device registration. An issue has already been created some time ago, the issue is still present on 3.1.1-a14-20250828521479-official-FP4. Here you find the issue: MS Teams / Company Portal cannot be used (#8127) · Issues · e / Backlog · GitLab
I guess your app does use the default /e/ browser? Unfortunately it does contain some issues, that affects some apps using the default browser engine.
One example: Try to open this website on /e/ browser (this is my own website that I’ve made on “Wix”): www.linux4all.net then click on the 3 small lines on the top right to open the menu: Nothing happens… Now, if you do the same using “Firefox” or “Fennec” or even “Samsung Internet” browser, the menu will appear instantly.
So what I would try to do in your situation is to download another browser (F.I. Firefox works great), and set it as your default browser, then try again if it works….
