whenever I touch an item to scroll in a list, the item flashes. How can I disable this? Is this really the default or have I enabled some setting by accident?

We do find Settings > Notifications > Flash notifications
… seems different though? Otherwise perhaps include your full_version_string
and a bit more detail on the context please.
It’s not about notifications. It’s about list items in general. For example also in Settings: whenever I scroll the settings, the item I touched on quickly flashes (without being activated). It’s a bit annoying.
I’m running e/os on a OnePlus Nord btw.
can you make a screenrecording of this list items behaviour without disclosing anything personal?
recently read about flashes in the UI and didn’t have anything familiar in my memory where this can originate.
