Transmitting the screen over to a projector/beamer

Hello,

I have both a FP5 and a tablet working with E/OS but cannot make them use the projector to let the audience share what I try to teach them

I searched the web and it seams (if I am not mistaking - I cannot imagine that during presentations Gael does not beam anything ) that our wonderful os is not able to join the display devise using HDMI or one of the other existing means (WiFi, Bluetooth, …) of sharing images or text.

For the sake of experiment, I also tried to share several TV (TF1+, Auvio, …) programs but not to avail.

Do you have an advise to share, many thanks in advance.

wifi-display (“miracast”) or usb-c to hdmi should work in the FP5:

→ that should be Miracast / Wifi-Display, not Chromecast. LineageOS seems to still keep it around. When everything fails, fallback to a cable? FP5 can do usb-c to hdmi - Have you tried Desktop Mode with your Fairphone? - Fairphone

Miracast does work on Fairphone 5 with A15

Continuing the discussion from Miracast does not work on FP4 any more: Now I was able to test a FP5 about Miracast screen casting and I was happy it works. It only was necessary to activate the wireless transmission in the casting settings, but then it worked out of the box. I am hopefully looking forward to A15 on the FP4 ! Regain your privacy!
