I’m following the install documentation for my FP6. Install /e/OS on a Fairphone The Fairphone (Gen. 6) - “FP6”
I’v got a transfer data cable.
OEM unlock
developper mode activated.
usb debugging activated.
and by default usb data transfert activated.
But i encounter a problem when i follow the documentation.
First of all that’s something weird with adb.
when i enter the command adb devices the list is empty.
but when i select No transfert in default usb. When i enter the same command i can see my FP6 serial number in the list of devices.
So it’s strange i don’t understand why because in the documentation you have to activate by default usb data transfert.
Why not, i can now enter the next command adb reboot bootloader and the FP6 is now in Fastboot Mode.
But here i’m stuck because when i enter the command fastboot devicesi can’t see my FP6.
I’ve try several times rebboting my pc, my phone, changin the usb port, retry all the install doc by the start i’m always stuck on this point.
What i’m doing wrong ? Did someone have got an idea to help me ?

USB Preferences might not look the same on fp6 as other phones. Clearly following the install instruction should be correct. You use the expression “default usb”.
You might use Settings > Search facility > Default USB configuration. This should be self explanatory, it is the default.
However the USB setting at this time is the important setting and the one referred to in the instructions.
