An /e/OS Generic System Image (GSI) has been a long standing request from /e/OS users. In this article, we’ll share details about the official /e/OS GSI, which will be released soon.
We assume that the reader has an average knowledge of technical terms, as there are some peppered across this blog post. It would not be possible to explain all the terms and definitions, though we have attempted to keep the narrative as simple as possible.
Find details about the work done and progress made on Generic System Image (GSI) for /e/ in this section.
Using the example of a MiMax3 mobile phone I want to explain the installation of a GSI. It is important to choose the right version. The Mi Max3 needs an arm64 a-only version. Which version has to be used can be found out with the app treble checker.
This guide does not have to work with every mobile phone. Therefore I do not guarantee that it works and does not break. As always: You should have a Stock Rom and be prepared for a complete reinstallation.

There is not even an UNOFFICIAL CustomROM for this Mini Smartphone: I got it to work with a Lineage GSI 20.0 arm64_bvN by @AndyYan + MinMircoG.
By the way: The Jelly Star is really light and small (and very thick ), but nothing for my hands and pocket. Dimensions: 95.1 × 49.6 × 18.7mm, Weight: 116 g (With Battery)

Man. It would genuinely be so good if this phone was supported. The newer GSI’s for this phone completely brick it, there needs to be something made specifically for it.
Unihertz Jelly Star could run /e/, also self-compiled.
