Unknown caller, caller ID unknown

Hi
I have /e os on a fairphone 4. I have a problem that all the calls that I receive are unknown, thus I cannot see who’s calling. The problem arrived since the update to /e os 3.0.
I have 4G call and Wifi call switched off. The phone is not reachable anymore. so I switched on 4G calling and then the GSM is reachable, but no number is shown on the phone, it is shown unknown.
Today, an update to 3.0.4xxxxx arrived, I installed it, but the problem wasn’t solved as I hoped.
In other forums, it is recommended not to install Android 14, but /e has got it.
Is there a solution out of this?

Regarding Report an issue (I didn’t see a current issue in a quick search, I may be wrong ?) the following are marked closed

Thanx, but no. These solutions don’t work.

When I switch off 4G calling, the phone does not receive a call, nor will be able to establish one.
It worked until an update of /e.

Yesterday, an update arrived, but this problem always exists.

Have you spoken to your carrier about this? It is often viewed as a carrier issue.

There are instances where the carrier will perform a “Network reset” to resolve the problem.

As a stage prior … on the phone is Settings > System > Reset options > Reset mobile network etc.

Reading other experiences from the search link you would have seen these suggestions already.

You might care to mention your carrier and / or check on [LIST] Carriers that work or do not work with /e/OS country-wise

Another available option which I mentioned is to Report an issue on Gitlab.

Thanks a lot, but It isn’t a carrier issue. When I put the SIM Card in another Phone (Lineage), all works normal. And here, only with 4G, the FP4 works, but caller unknown.

How and where to report a bug on Gitlab? I already searched for it., but I still haven’t found what I’m looking for.
