Unfortunately e/os/ doesn’t boot, it just hangs on Samsung Galaxy A51 logo screen (e/os/ animation with bouncing dot doesn’t even load).

Zip instalation of your ROM in twrp or sideloading from lineage recovery goes smoothly and they don’t report any errors but I just can’t get it to boot.

Lineage from the initial post boots and works fine, it’s very stable so it’s a shame that e/os/ version isn’t available.

If anyone knows how to make it work, please share.

Will do a current build for testing next days…

This version boots fine. I will post more impressions after a few days of use but everything seems fine.

I don’t know how you do it, but you did it again. Thank you :+1:

(I will also try to learn how to build e/os/ roms based on docker and your tutorial)

Okay, here is a little update. My model is SM-A515F.

Bug in e/os/ 1.21-t is that USB connection doesn’t work. I tried different USB-C cables on different computers but connecting cable only turns on charging, you can’t switch modes. I checked and in lineage usb data transfer works fine on the same setup (same phone, cable and computer). So I used wireless connection on e/os/ which works without problems.

Also, display is snappier on lineage. It works on e/os/ but I can notice that it is more responsive on lineage. But maybe that’s only present on my phone or affected by some option in settings which is turned on or off by default.

So what I ended up doing is I extracted system files from @ronnz98 rom and dirty flashed converted system.img over already installed lineage. That way I got e/os/ without above problems and so far everything works. I will post another update.

After further testing, I can definitely say that @ronnz98 version of e/os/ dirty flashed over lineage is the best solution.

Just to give credit where credit is due, I learned about that trick from this post of @beposanfior

For anyone that wants to try it out, he linked pdf tutorial. It’s for a different phone but procedure is the same.
