I tested this build again with dirty flash. Bliss launcher still crashes at boot up. Went back to S 1.21.1 and will test your T build next.

Thank you very much for all your effort. Iā€™ll leave the clean installs to others. I donā€™t really like setting up the device every time after updating :grimacing:

Fair enoughā€¦better donā€™t flash T build then, even if working well you might loose your settings.
Would suggest a clean install for T.

I did try this e-2.0-S build with a clean install now. Unfortunately the bliss launcher still crashes after first boot, when setting up the device ā€œfor the first timeā€. I report it in the wrong thread over here (got confused, in which thread Iā€™m in).

Hot off the pressā€¦ please test. If newest version does also not work weā€™ll need to wait for updated Bliss launcher versionā€¦

I did conduct an other test by doing a clean install of this latest build e-2.1-s. Unfortunately Bliss Launcher still crashes during setup and I never makes it to a home screen showing any apps after first setup (background picture shows up though).

Iā€™ve never done this but if this is really possible to change default launcher via adb then its worth a try:

You donā€™t actually need to do it with ADB, you can swipe down and go to settings and Start apps from there to install another launcher.

I installed lawnchair this way, works as expected, except every now and then a ā€œBlissLauncher keeps crashingā€ popup shows up. There is no way to disable bliss entirely is there?

The open apps button doesnā€™t work either, idk if thatā€™s because of lawnchair.

And in the settings app the icons of the groups vanish once you select the group lol.

Overall itā€™s usable though, thanks a lot for your work!

Thank you very much for all your effort. Unfortunately, for me at least, the bliss launcher still crashes right at the beginning of setup and doesnā€™t work after setup (no navigation icons, no apps on the ā€œdesktopā€). I had to roll back to the last working version 1.21.1-s again.
