I am using the gtaxlwifi and dirty flashed from 1.21.1 S to 2.0 T on my Unofficial OrangeFox R11.1. The flash was unsuccessful and I was thrown back into recovery.
All my previous attempts to flash e-2.0-s where unsuccessful as well, due to crashes of the Bliss Launcher right after a successful boot.
Thank you for setting me straight on this. I guess I will have to reinstall apps, setting them up and reorganize them on the “desktop” one more time
I will see, if I can do the upgrade in the near future.
I did a clean install now. Bliss launcher still crashes, even before set up really starts (at language selection). After start up configuration, bliss stays crashed. Settings app can be opened from the notification bar, but I wasn’t able to restart the bliss launcher this way.
I will test your e-2.0-T-build next and report over at that thread.
try taking a backup of /data using TWRP
I tried that, but a backup of 2.3 GB to the sd card wasn’t done after over 2 hours and I didn’t even have many apps installed. I lost patience after that and gave up.
EDIT: I lost track of what thread I’m in. This report is to your e-2.0-s build from over at this thread. Sorry for the confusion. Feedback for the T build will be my next post right here in this thread.
I tried the e-2.0-t build now. Unfortunately I am stuck at boot loop. I used the TWRP version of your post you linked earlier in this thread.
For now, the last stable build for me is your unofficial e-1.2.1-s build.
Thank you very much for all your effort, that you invested in building for my device @ronnz98
Everything seems to be fine, just minor details that don’t affect it that much. The camera isn’t in the applications menu. Doze mode doesn’t work very well, or at least it doesn’t always work. That’s what I’ve noticed.
Did a clean installation on my SM-T580. Installation went well, thank you, @ronnz98. Bliss launcher is having some trouble. When long pressing an icon they all are shaking, but it’s not possible to move the icons or to disable any app. Any ideas how to fix this?
I found in my recovery that /data could not be mount. I believe it is due to the fact that there once was another ROM (I believe CrDroid with Android 14) en now the Data-section is encrypted. My recovery (Orangefox 11.1) is from a lower Android version and thus not able to handle higher encryption. Don’t know if I’m expressing myself well.
How can I solve this problem? I’m able to use Odin or ADB, that part is working fine. Changing the data-file system from EXT2 to EXT4 does not work. Any ideas?
