Yeah I am asking this because Iām surprised to see all the S4, S5, S7 listed on the page but not the S6 I find it surprising

I deleted the version e-2.0-s-20240526-UNOFFICIAL-zerofltexx by roonz98 for you and installed e-2.1-r-20240605-UNOFFICIAL-zerofltexx by @roonz98 via Clean Install using OranageFox Recovery. At first quick glance, everything works as it should.
Since after update V2.2 the version /e/OS-R has no future āSo R2.2 will be the last build for a couple of unofficial devices I builtā I deleted this ROM for the last time and installed e-2.1-s-20240608-UNOFFICIAL-zerofltexx by @ronnz98 using OranageFox Recovery successfully.

My manual update via adb sideload e-2.2-r-20240719-UNOFFICIAL-zerofltexx.zip is reported by TWRP as a successful installation, but after the restart the system only boots up to the animated e-logo and remains there. Nothing continues. The system cannot be used!
Only after a factory reset with loss of all data does the system restart and has to be set up again.
Switching to version āTā is no longer difficult for meā¦
Strange, I would expect that R version work since sources did not change and from R 2.1 to R 2.2 is not a big difference. Did clean install work? Maybe your TWRP is not that that is proposed for R.
Anyway I would suggest upgrade to /e/OS-T for the S6 now
The transition from /e/OS V2.0 to V2.1 and V2.2 is also often faulty with other (also āofficialā /e/OS).
TWRP runs very well on āRā and ā/e/OS-Tā. TWRP is also fully compatible with āLocal updateā in /e/OS-T
Hi, I followed this tutorial and proceeded to install this custom ROM on my SM-G920F.
However, I feel like Iāve messed up because now it just hangs on the animated boot logo when starting the phone.
I recently discovered that I should have checked the phone was OEM Unlocked before doing anything, which I didnāt do. Really worried I bricked it!
Iām also unable to restore back to stock ROM so I can start over with installing custom ROM because the recovery mode is the custom one and Iām not sure how to restore back using that one.
Is there a way I can get the device going again, either to stock or to your preferred custom ROM?
Any help from anyone is greatly appreciated.

try to format /dataā¦
restoring stock have to be done from download mode, not recovery mode.
what is the system running on your PC ?
