USB tethering over VPN

Currently if I use USB tethering while connected to a VPN on my phone the connected’s device traffic still goes through the mobile carrier’s network, not the VPN.

I am afraid it is not a particular /e/ problem. It is the same on all mobile OS versions.

The easiest would be to put VPN on the device tethered to the phone.

As an example, here is an answer on reddit to a user from Proton VPN Team:
