So i am in the market for a New phone after having a (Irish) Vodafone locked and filled to the eye balls with awful and useless apps.
i am Strongly looking at a Fairphone with the E/os/ but i need to know what apps that i use and need absolutely have to have (some unfortunately)
can someone point me in the direction or guide to how or if these apps work.

Fondest regards and much appreciation
Matt
Edit* I spent the summer removing Windows from all of the Pcs in the House. (Ubuntu and manjaro) really getting into the whole sticking it to the Man lol
Everyone in UK does too. But some things are too important to compromise on. If someone really wants to speak to me and doesn’t use Signal then there is always a normal phone call. Sure it’s not private. But the only information gained by the eavesdropper relates to the specific call, not every other bit of data that Meta likes to pull through their apps 24/7. All that is required for evil to triumph is that good men do nothing.
Please be aware that there’s no guarantee most of the Apps you list will work at any given point in time on a degoogled Android OS like /e/OS (in case Signal gives any trouble there are forks of it like Molly-FOSS).
They might work fine most of the time (the forum has a search function), but if you really seriously rely on them, /e/OS might not be the right choice for you.
First I say, great start! I also began this journey by replacing windows on PC & laptop with Linux, such a great experience. Deleted my long held Microsoft and google accounts end of last year. Wish I did long ago, as many must say afterwards.
The phone can be difficult, and every persons need is different. A reminder also, I cannot speak to those specifically but some services may be accessible via browser, and while perhaps more difficult, can be an option if not needed often or in a bind.
For me I spent good amount of time challenging myself as to some apps, whether I need or not, alternatives, etc. And greatly reduced my apps which also has been pleasant side affect.
I also have the FP 4 and e/OS, and its been really great for me so far.
I wish best of endeavor and I also must agree this all has brought great satisfaction on many levels!
