Is there any update planned for the Nubia Red Magic 5G (Global) codename: nx659j, currently im running beta 3.1 Android 13.
It recently got android 15 support on lineageOS.
We keep reviewing the list of devices to add more names. First we plan to release the initial set of devices - hopefully with the next release which should be v3.1.1

For your device a15 is available, upgrading must be done manually on community. You can try local update in the updater like I did with my Pixel 5, still do a backup before doing so. There is no 100% garantuee
That’ll be a big game changer for me (the camera app upgrade I mean). Is the FP6 in the list of planned OTA devices for next week?

I already did the manual install of A15 3.0.4 I am assuming at this point the upgrade eventually to 3.1.1 will be automatice
I think when you have A15 3.0.4 Community it will not automatically provide an OTA for A15 3.1.x Official. Not sure what happens if you are looking for an A15 3.1.x Community upgrade.
Perhaps someone can explain.

Hi — where can I find instructions to update a Pixel 7 manually from A13 to A15? I can find clean-install guides, but not steps for an in-place (non‑clean) update.
I am new to /e/ os. And new to Fairphone. What are the A12, A15 notations vs. versions numbering such as 3.0.4 or 3.1.1 ?
Does this provide the answer e/OS + Android OS version names and numbers? - #3 by aibd
It needs a little updating now that we call Android 14 (U) → a14 or A14

This is painful when seeing OTA for FP5 is still in plans only.

You can’t there is no official instructions how to do that. What you can try, as mentioned before, is to use the local update in the updater. Download a14 zip and then update, and then again for a15, hope for the best and have a backup ready if a clean install needs to be done.

It really is.
I understand that its a Harder process to do OTAs, but still. FP5 is almost 3 versions behind the most recent android.

As I am on Community release, where can I find the instructions for a complete new install (of A15 official for Pixel 8). I do not want to do a dirty upgrade and OTA will not work when going from A15 Community → A15 official. Instead I want to do clean install and re-lock the boot loader. I figure there will be a zip-file that needs to be unzipped … but what are the steps to put all the images on the phone (Pixel 8).
I found the location … but A15 Official is not there yet.

3.0.4 or 3.1.1 does not really correspond to the Android version (as in A12, A13, A14, A15). For example, 3.0.4 exists for A13, 14 and 15 for the Fairphone 3: https://ota.ecloud.global/community/FP3/
