There have been reports of slow download speed for v3.2 builds. The team is aware of this and looking into it. We are experiencing a large number of downloads across builds which is leading to these sluggish downloads.
Thank U for replying that fast..
The download connections are not only sluggish, it also shuts down with an network error after a couple of minutes. I tested this with two seperate providers..
Ok, thank U 4 looking into this.. ![]()
Greetings
3 November has come and gone, so I believe all the 3.2 builds should be out by now.
For Fairphone 5, it seems thereās no 3.2-a14 (or -a13), only 3.2-a15 (in both official and community releases).
That means I donāt get the latest security updates this month if Iām not yet ready to also move from Android 14 to A15. Is this a one-off for 3.2, or do I need to move my FP5 to A15 to get any more security updates? (Iām running the official build.)
Checking with the team. Will update
Update: The FP5 will only have A15 builds moving forward. Suggest you start planning to upgrade your device after taking a backup.
Does it show a15 3.2?
The /e/OS installer 0.13 is online!
Are there any release notes for it?
3.2 download ota took 1 - 2 hours ( normaly under 5 min. ) and stopped 2 or 3 times , but Installation worked well .
@ Manoj : Will get a Pixel 9 official ?
( found ā no device maintainer for tokay ā 3 weeks ago )
yep, I experienced the same, had to pause and restart the download a couple of times too.
That is the key point which decides which device gets an official build.
For now, we have tags ā¦checking with the team if they can add release notes
This is what came with the latest release of Web Installer v0.13
- FP5 Bumped to A15
- Pixel 8 Bumped to A15
- Pixel 7 Bumped to A15
- Bump the SPL date for FP devices
@Manoj: following builds are still not released:
- OnePlus 7pro A13 V3.2 (latest: V3.04)
- OnePlus 9 A15 not released
Any updates? Thanks!
Thanks for the update. Will check with the build team and get back with the response.
Update:
- OnePlus 7pro A13 V3.2 (latest: V3.04)
- v3.2 onwards OnePlus 7 pro will have only the A14 and A15 builds.
- OnePlus 9 A15 not released
- A15 released for the OnePlus 9 lemonade - it would require a manual install after taking a backup.
Thanks for the feedback @Manoj, although you informed before that /e/OS will support 3 builds (so OnePlus 7pro only 2, A14 and A15 are being maintained). Thatās too bad.
Personally , I would prefer the komodo ( Pixel 9 pro XL ) or the caiman ( Pixel 9 pro ) for official .
One of the key factors which impacts our continued support is the availability of security updates for an OS. As a rule, when you are 2 OS levels behind you should start planning on an OS upgrade. Else you stand the risk of not getting security or vendor patches.
Thank you for confirming.
Can you/developers confirm that 3.2-a15 for FP5 will not suffer from the FP5 fingerprint sensor issue? That has been my main reason for avoiding A15 so far.
(I know that 3.2-a15 incorporates firmware FP5.VT2E.C.059.20250908, which was the upstream release in which that issue was reported as fixed. And I might speculate that the reason 3.1.1-a15 and 3.1.4-a15 for FP5 were pulled after release was due to the risk of bricking from the fingerprint sensor issue. But I havenāt seen anyone confirm whether /e/OS ever suffered this issue, and if so, whether incorporating FP5.VT2E.C.059.20250908 is expected to have fixed it.)
