:backhand_index_pointing_right: Users reported Advance Privacy starting to work erratically yesterday. One suggestion was that it could be because of the Daylight saving switch. Temporary fixes shared in the same thread include disabling notification or data clearing . Issue reported to developers to resolve in code.

:triangular_flag: FP6 Random reboot issue

Issue reported on stock ROM as well. /e/OS developers are working with Fairphone developers for a resolution. Team has not been able to reproduce the issue. Request users facing this issue to share logs in the issue on gitlab . We are looking for details like the Service Provider details, information if reboot happened while travelling anything specific. Also wanted to confirm if the reboots started with v3.1.1 or were you experiencing them earlier as well.

Click the arrow on the left for details on the logs we require

We need two logs.

Log 1: Boot Sequence Log

The goal here is to capture the entire boot process, from the very start until the device is fully ready.

Trigger the Boot: Manually reboot the phone. Start the log as soon as the Fairphone splash logo is shown

adb logcat -b all > boot_log.txt

Stop the Log: Wait until you see the homescreen and the device is fully settled.

Log 2: Continuous Log until Issue Occurs

The goal here is to capture a long-running log that will catch the moment the issue happens.

Trigger the Boot: Manually reboot the phone. Start the log as soon as the Fairphone splash logo is shown

adb logcat -b all > continuous_log.txt

Reproduce the Issue: Do not stop the log. Keep it running until the phone automatically reboots on it’s own, ie. reproducing the issue mentioned

Hi, just switched back from iodeOS to e/os. Will there be a fix for the FP5 as well?

The team is aware of issues with Android Auto. The fix is for all devices on A15. We expect the fix to be available with v3.3

@Manoj Although you wrote, that the upgrade from A13 to A15 for Fairphone 5 is still β€œUnder Development and Testing”, I got it a few minutes, ago. :winking_face_with_tongue:

 The release date was correct, the Section under which it should have been posted was wrong. Let me update in the initial post.

Hi! Is the AA fix to correct the error message reported for those who use it with the Google Apps or do we have a resolution where we don’t need to download the Google Apps for AA to work? Hopefully both

Anyone who can point me to a brief description of this issue?

I did notice recently that the initial fix in Maps on my FP3+ was quite a bit (500 metres, or even 1-2 km) off my actual position, BUT I realized only last week that after a few minutes, it worked all fine and kept following me precisely on an extended walk outside of town. Not sure though what made the difference – just the few minutes of waiting OR activating mobile (cellular) data.

You can check an issue raised around this.

Very good new! Thank you very much! :folded_hands:

Will Murena Pixel (tangorpro) official get an OTA upgrade to A15? @Manoj

Will FP4 get official upgrade to A15 in V3.3 ?

Somewhere Manoj pointed out that we can expect official A15 for FP4 early 2026.

Correct me if I’m wrong.

This is good news! Thank you for doing this!

Just scroll up, it is in the OTA OS upgrade section

A15 official might come sooner for manual install than for an OTA upgrade, though.

After upgrading from 3.1.4 to 3.2 the β€œSCRIGNObps” banking app successfully started instead of leaving a dead blue screen, however after being activated with the bank credentials, it failed to work saying that there was another device activated and I have to migrate my account from it.

It looks like microG is still not working properly, maybe something about being unable to keep the same device-related ID shown to the apps…

Now that November 3th is coming to an end (all 3.2 should be released by now @Manoj, the OnePlus 7pro A13 is still on 3.0.4 and the OnePlus 9 A15 still not released. Any update on both devices please? OnePlus 7pro A13 is still version July 10, 2025.

Checking. Will update.

Hi All..

Anyone out there whos is experiencing also very slow download rates from the global image servers at /e/ ( /e/OS community a52sxq download )?

My rates while downloading are around 700kb/s wich is very slow, right? The problem persists since the v3.2 release a couple of days ago..

Any ideas?

Greets from Berlin

Pete

This is awesome, was hoping for an adaptive charging like feature!
