Hi I just got help from a true wizard to install e on my fairphone 3.
I just installed whatsapp, but there seems to be a problem. The speaker doesnt work when im calling up.
Neither the built in speaker or on headset.

Thanks a lot, im quite a novice in this encypted game. Have opened pandoras box, but i will learn.

I use Signal daily on other machines, so I am delighted it can be installed on /e/.
In the deluge of recent news about the Fairphone deal (and this is what Iā€™ll buy!) I hear some negative bits concerning the lack of ā€˜pushā€™ services when one does not use GApps. Is this true, for Signal for instance, does this mean someone calling me cannot trigger a ring, unless for instance Signal would be running upfront?

I also have read sometimes, that push notifications not always working. I only can say: On my 3 Xiaomi devices Iā€™m getting push messages from all services (Mail, telegram, whatsapp, SMS and so on). But only for Proton mail it isnā€™t working.

If you allow background activities and donā€™t allow batterie optimize the push notification should work.
