Will flashing a new gsi image will delete my data?

Hi,
I want to flash a new gsi img on my Oukitel C21 Phone. Since there no seedvault option on the gsi version will flashinh a new img will delete all my apps and data?

In the excellent open source Proejct /e/ GSI ‘Q’ V1.14, the Seedvault App is integrated at the system level. The function only needs to be activated.

It’s too bad I’m running 1.12. That’s why I’m asking if flashing the new version will wipe my data

Seedvault is also integrated in earlier ‘Q’ versions. A simple search within the forum is enough.
