Known potential issues : As mentioned above, Xiaomi had some problems on specific series of this device, resulting in bricked devices.
It was a very popular device when it was released (price, quality, Android One) and still is a great phone nowadays, but still is Google bloated and soon won’t receive updates anymore (which is already the case on some devices). Having a FOSS Android distribution with privacy-oriented features and design, would be a great thing, plus, as always, would increase the longevity of the phone !
