Asus Zenfone 8 version supported question

Hi people,

I saw that the Asus Zenfone 8 is supported, and i’m considering buying one.
the version that is listed as supported is ZS590KS.
The version that i can get on my country is: ZS590KS-2A009EU
will the phone be able to run /e/ ??

Seek - and post here - for any LOS-based custom ROM:

My best guess is that the ZS590KS is the Global version and ZS590KS-2A009EU is a regional variant, but who knows whether that is supported by LOS,/e/ ?

Hello,

My Old phone is an Asus Zenfone with /e/OS 1.19 installed. (Android 12)
Now i have the Fairphone 5 wich is a lot bigger phone, but on that phone i have installed /e/OS v 2.0.
My question is…can i also install version 2.0 on the Asus ZenFone 8?
I thought that i read something about a possibillity to do a rollback and upgrading to Android 13 and then install the newest version?

Can somebody tell me where i can find information about this and if its possible?

yes it exist :

there is an existing Android 13 based stock firmware for your device

But /e/OS-T builds are expected to include the needed firmware parts.
