You might take the route of Report an issue. I don’t think there is a tag for [Feature request] but you might check through for a suitable “Issue template”.

My old Samsung phone from years ago had an option to schedule a recurring reboot which I would set for once a week. I miss that feature.
These Android systems need a reboot once in a while and I can never remember to do it until the system starts behaving odd, which eventually they always do.

The app automate is a fun way to set up a task like this and much more complex ones. To get started there is a fairly active community with facilities for peer sharing of finished work and “templates” Community ⋅ Automate for Android.

I looked into automate already, however didn’t want to give it the necessary privileges. I would prefer if the system offered those few options where a higher privilege is required.
